I always thought the Tiger was one of the few German midwar tanks that wouldn't have issues with the mud, considering the tracks were so wide they didn't fit on railcars.

Wrong~ The running gear would often get slogged with mud thanks to its overlapping road wheel design, and so the mud would get caught between the wheels, freezing up in the colder months and causing the Tiger to be immobilized until they could clear it out!
