I loled. However just because the wire is red does not mean that it is actually positive or negative. It's just a red wire. A lot of companies tend to have different color codes for positive, negative, or ground as well. Techie rant over.

I know, but at least here in holland, they teach us to use red or brown wires for the live/+ wire, blue or black for the mass/-, and green/yellow for the earth. Do anything else and you risk a fine or a warning, dependent of what and where you wired it wrong.

Altough I forgot what colors were required for 3-phase current XD
