He's quite lucky. Gotta remember that escalator can be dangerous. I remembered there was once a kid who got stuck in one and died.

Listen, not a year goes by, not a year, that I don't hear about some escalator accident involving some bastard kid which could have easily been avoided had some parent - I don't care which one - but some parent conditioned him to fear and respect that escalator!

Some parents are careless or inattentive these days, which explains why some stupid stuff happens that they fail to take accountability over their child for. Thank God my parents taught me how to fear, respect, and properly use the escalator.
