Judging from the statement. Most likely more tails equal to how fatal her cuteness would be? So starting off with two tails....you won't die right away. Unless prolong "Awing" with no breathing.

The "number of tails" thing is something that generally only applies to kitsunes. In terms of nekomata, they follow their own strange rules o3o

The usual rule, though, is that a cat grows its second tail when it lives long enough, which ought to be impossible for a freshly-hatched...
