    気がついたら更地になっておりました。南無。
    長らくのご愛顧ありがとうございました。さてこれからどうしましょ。

This means that even becoming a web ghost town is gone now.

    >A message from Infoseek
    >Service for isweb Light has been discontinued as of October 31, 2010.
    >Thank you for your long patronage.

I wanted to decorate my site with this picture at the end, but then I realized that it was gone. Amen.
Thank you for your patronage. Well, what do I do now?

Web ghost towns(Web廃墟) refers to websites that have been abandoned and not been updated for a long time in Japanese jargon and net slang. It is used without regard to the format of the site, and so also includes blogs etc.

And the guy with the broom just stands there like a boss. He's on cleaning duty, he got this.

    (Moved to Artist's Commentary field)

Infoseek isweb Light was the name of a free web hosting service plan offered by the Japanese subsidiary of Infoseek ~by the time service began in 2001, it had already been bought out by Rakuten Inc. and become a subsidiary~ that was supported by advertisements. Since Rakuten consolidated all of the free webpage creation services of the companies it bought out, almost all websites in Japan created with a free webpage creation service in the 2000s were hosted on web space administered by the Infoseek brand. (The ability to use CGI, uncommon for free services, was another reason for the large number of users.)

On August 25, 2010, Rakuten ~Infoseek Japan K.K. has merged with Rakuten in 2003 and disappeared~ announced that the isweb Light service would be discontinued at the end of October. The data would not be migrated if users did not go through the migration procedures for paid plans, the grace period was short at just over two months, the publicizing of the notice was extremely inadequate, and almost all of the websites had become so-called "Web ghost towns." Consequently, on November 1, many websites, along with the records of their data, communities and cultures, vanished completely. As very few websites were salvaged by the curious, this event was a blow to veteran net users in Japan. What's more, two years later, the paid services are being discontinued as well.

He's secretly relieved. After all, he doesn't need to clean it if it's not there anymore.
