Oh gosh. I think I started this back in July D: It's definitely the most effort I've put into a piece and I'm very happy with it.

It's for Namie-kun's Touhou crossover contest! I picked to cross Touhou with the anime CLANNAD because 1) I love it, and 2) I've never seen it done before so I thought I'd try it out. Before I had picked a crossover I knew I wanted to do one of those pictures that has a ton of little details and characters to look at, with no real focal point. I thought of how CLANNAD has such beautiful backgrounds and settings and began making connections between characters...and it was settled.

I redid the background like four times because I reeeaally wanted to capture the look and feel of CLANNAD's setting ;_; So many redos...so painful...

ANYWAYS, the characters!
Reimu as Nagisa Furukawa - I decided to put main character Reimu in a good mood and place her as main character Nagisa. Both have brown hair and brown eyes as well.
Marisa as a Dango - that Reimu is holding. lol
Suika Ibuki as Fuuko Ibuki - Same name, almost same exact hairstyle, both weird lolis (relatively) that are obsessed with something. Fuuko loves starfish and carves wood ones, so Suika has a wood sake gourd. She's in the happy state Fuuko goes in when she thinks of starfish.
Yuyuko as Botan the boar - because pigs eat everything.
Reisen as Kyou Fujibayashi - same hair color and style, both are somewhay tsundere/straight men (Reisen less so). I put her in Kyou's famous gym outfit and made her thighhighs black like her real ones (and because it helped the composition).
Patchouli as Kotomi Ichinose - both have long dark hair and are very intelligent book-lovers. I like to think Patchy wouldn't know how to act around humans if she left the library just like how Kotomi didn't :P (Lick)

I changed her hair a bit to better resemble Kotomi's and made her hat a lil smaller to accommodate.
Sakuya as Tomoyo Sakagami - This was kinda hard. It was between Mokou and Sakuya. I picked Sakuya though cuz she has Tomoyo's gray hair, blue eyes, and nice thighs (lol), and their both those "perfect" calm looking characters with imperfect pasts. Tomoyo got is gangfights, Sakuya's past is mysterious and unknown...yeah.
Akyuu as Ryou Fujibayashi - Well I needed someone with short purple hair to match her "twin" and since neither Akyuu nor Ryou are very popular...it works : D
Sanae as Sanae Okazaki - same name, both are good girls.
Nitori as Mei Sunohara - Nitori's outfit is similar to Mei's and they both wear pigtails. Nitori is a little shy for Mei but oh well.
Orin as Misae's cat - both are cats? :D (Big Grin)

AND THE DANGOS! are Toyosotomimi, Prismrivers, Cirno, Byakuren, Komeijis, Shiki and Komachi, Aya (my fave touhoe), Scarlets, Yuuka, Yakumo family.
