I doubt it, she's applaud Meiling for taking good care of flowers. hopefully she'll be written as someone with a decent level of competency at least and not a mostly joke character.

Well there is always the "rival" club angle assuming Yuuka is leader of a gardener club.

I just find the idea of Yuuka losing in a flower growing contest a fun one.
