According to her site, this book contains spoilers for the first five volumes of the novel. How far is the anime in the novels? Just wondering if I'll get spoiled reading this.
Thus far in episodes 1-5 of the anime there has been material from novel volumes 1, 2, and 8. Any material from novel volumes 3-6 would likely contain major spoilers.
EDIT: Considering A-1 Pictures has a new show lined up for Fall 2012, the SAO anime will likely end at ~12 episodes and cover primarily volumes 1-2.
It's unlikely the anime will pass the ending of volume 4, when considering the number of episodes they have left and factoring in how many events they have to cover with those episodes.
That being said, volume 4 would be a pretty decent cutoff point for the anime.

The show is current taking content from Volume 1, 2 and 8 (mini-side stories that dove back into SAO).

SAO is scheduled for 24 episodes as opposed to 12.
Hence, it should have enough time to cover the events up till Volume 4. In addition, if you've read the novels, you really can't consider the end of Volume 1 (the ending of SAO) to have an closure whatsoever. You'll definitely WANT to continue reading up to the end of Volume 4.
