This is possibly one of the best Samus pics I've ever seen. Not only is it detailed, but it's damn accurate too. Whoever made this, you did an awesome f**king job.

No she's not; one hand's planted on the ground, the other is pressing against a wound in her side. That ragged bloody part on the left is her hair, soaked in blood.

I didn't know it was possible for her to detach the arm cannon, though.

That's going to leave a mark.

If you look closely, under her left shoulder her right hand is there, pressing against the wound there.

Yes it is. I finished Metroid 1 for the NES and Samus ends up pretty low in life and ammo by the end of the battle with Mother Brain. Is a very difficult battle and a very hard to kill boss.
