This was a contest entry for "retro games" and I chose one of my favorite childhood memories, Mario Kart for the Nintendo 64!! Oh, good days.

The background (and the entire piece, actually) was really rushed to hit the deadline and I hope to go back and refine a lot at a later date. But, I think the bright colors and fun composition really worked out well overall to capture the moment.
