I realize this is brimming with yaoi, but at the same time I can't help but think how nicely it captures Tony's attitude and Cap's naive honesty. Love it.

The subtext between them in the comics is sufficient that its actually more believable at times to ship the two together than with their respective love interests.

Like, the time Tony's armor came to life and started acting like an abusive boyfriend and kidnapped Tony and tied him up until he loved it back, it was thoughts of Steve, rather than of any female, that gave him the strength to escape.
