I love this artist's stuff, especially anything with Yuki in it (although I love anything with Yuki in it by default), but he makes Kyon out to be nothing but a boring jealous idiot, and never goes over any of Kyon's highly amusing deadpan monotones or other positive traits. Even Haruhi basically is reduced to nothing but occasional harassment instead of her more amusing hijinx.

I think it is less a desire for her and more annoyance at how damn cozy it is.

Well, basically tokiomi tsubasa just really likes to do Koizumikuru, and he/she does it so cutely that I can somewhat forgive not giving enough effort to the rest of the cast.
