WHICH CAME FIRST, THE BLOGGER OR THE EGG?

• THE PREMISE: for the month of october, create art about eggs everyday. or every other day. or once a week. or just once. it doesn't matter how much you participate, the eggtober curse will get you, too. there is no escape.
• THE RULES: there are none. chaos reigns. eggtober is whatever the participant wants it to be. whether that's embroidering a hard boiled egg onto your jeans or brainstorming new eggs that hatch into fun creatures à la viva piñata (2006). you must look into the dark recesses of your twisted guts to find what eggtober means to you.
• THE COST: your sanity. reader beware, you will never look at an egg the same way again. you will find yourself falling victim to a strange obsession, a void the color of yolk. i was just a normal artist before i found The Egg. it's bright colorful, covered in hatches and triangles and squiggles. and it's starting to fry........
