  • I cannot even begin to describe the impact that Zero Escape has had on my life; it’s me for the better in every regard, from the artwork I make to the friends I have, and I can’t even imagine where I would be without this series.

I’ve spent countless hours analyzing, discussing, theorizing, and drawing fanart for Zero Escape, all with the sole intention of paying tribute to the videogames that changed my life. They’ve helped me through tough times and been a source of inspiration and motivation all the while; waiting for Zero Time Dilemma has been not only a test of my patience, but something to look forward to for almost a year.

These games are masterfully crafted and anyone can clearly see all of the effort Uchikoshi put into delivering a moving story for his audience. Nothing can compare to the emotional rollercoaster that is 999, and VLR expands on the story to set up for our conclusion; collectively, we spent years waiting for the finale of the series, and although some lost hope, it’s finally here.
So thank you to Uchikoshi for all he has done for us. He deserves to finish the story he has invested so much time and effort into, and I am happy beyond words that he is able to do so. Thank you, Zero Escape!
