The king of rare water-dwelling Giants, Herck shared dominion with the Sea Dragons prior to the start of the Great War. The two had a relationship that surpassed race, and even Herck's grandfather was a Sea Dragon. His body had dragon features, which were seen as natural and respected at the time, and a source of great power for Herck, but the war pit the two races against each other.
