The Truth of That Day:
Back when Asgore was the chief of police, he was driving in his car through the neighboring town.
Then, the Knight created a Dark Fountain, and the entire town was swallowed by darkness.
Asgore and his truck were pulled into the Dark World.
His truck transformed into a massive tank, and with Asgore behind the wheel, the Darkners of the neighboring town were completely flattened.
The tank never stopped moving forward, and it even ran over the Dark Fountain, sealing it in the process.
And so, after half-destroying the neighboring town, Asgore was dismissed from his position as chief of police.
Rumor has it that the official reason for Asgore’s dismissal was drunk driving...
