A knight of the Raven's Aegis, a troop of La Riiz dedicated to protecting sorcerers. While the troop emphasized defense, Regulus opted not to carry a shield, focusing on offense instead. Nonetheless, he remained in the troop, both because his sword skills saved more sorcerers than any shield, and because he lacked the capacity for magic himself. He would later achieve renown as one of the Twin Knights of the Morning Star.
