So, we have:

-South Dakota, who "stole" all of Washington's credit (due to the press) and got all of the glory for the Second Naval Battle of Guadalcanal.

-Indiana, who during the Marshall Islands Campaign in 1944 decided to suddenly turn a different direction without alerting the rest of the task group and ended up cutting in front of Washington, colliding and causing severe damage, losing sailors and nearly sinking both ships in the process.

-Massachusetts, who (while not directly involved in any incidents together) happened to be in the same task group during the Indiana collision incident and witnessed the whole thing go down.

Poor girl just can't catch a break around the SoDak sisters.
