Damn, I don't think I can do the other half's translation. That second sentence was just crazy. The English version ended up being nearly backwards compared to the Japanese because of the labyrinthine construction of the original.
Done. The second half was more challenging on the vocabulary side, and I'm still not sure if that's the correct translation. I think I'm at least pretty close.
