No, I think it was unfertilized.
Mother birds in the wild often eat such "dud" eggs that occasionally end up in the nest along with the fertilized ones. It gives the mother give some of the nutrients back from the egg and rids the nest of any extra scents that can lure predators to the hatchlings. In some cases, even domesticated chickens will eat their own unfertilized eggs if they aren't collected some time after being laid.

Something to learn even in porn...I know some culture encourage eating placenta after birth, but I haven't found any culture would encourage eating your own menstruation yet!
