Today I drew Taotie Youma from Touhou.
The scenery is inspired by the Blood Pond Hell.
In Buddhism, there is a ridiculously misogynistic concept that women cannot attain Buddhahood and fall into the Blood Pond Hell, and the reasoning is that they defile the earth god with the blood they shed during childbirth. It's basically the nitpicking of a damn complainer.
