Flandre would be a better fit than Remilia, since her wand(?) is a physical object that's always visible. "Gungnir" and "Laevateinn" themselves are just spellcards.
Kaguya has 5 items, but the jeweled branch is most prominently shown in art.

In UFO, every character's design incorporates holding a specific item (dowsing rods, umbrella, ring thing, anchor + hishaku, pagoda, scroll, trident). Held items are the new silly hats.

Touhou characters have always been big users of held items. Before UFO, Rin had her wheelbarrow, Yuugi had her sake cup, Tenshi had her sword, Sanae had her gohei, Komachi had her scythe, Eirin had her bow, Suika had her sake jug, the Prismriver Sisters had their instruments and Sakuya had her knives.

Touhou Musou anyone?

^ Ever since Koei started making Musou games base on anime, I've been praying for a day that they announce a Touhou Musou.

I was actually just talking specifically about the Stage 6 characters, but okay, you guys have a point.
