Female Anatomy Sketch (with skeletal additions)
①Skeleton ②Muscles + Fat ③Example
When you study muscles, you're often influenced by that knowledge when shading and differentiating tones. (I do it myself quite often.) In reality, because of individual differences in subcutaneous fat and muscle, the muscular diagrams in textbooks look quite different from the surface of the body in reference images.
When drawing down to the body surface, relying "only" on anatomical knowledge can make things feel stiff, so I make it a point to decide on the shading for the body surface while glancing sideways at reference photos and such, to avoid turning it into an "anatomy chart in skin tones."
