Kashima be like: Finally I can be leave alone.

Current art trend for Kashima (or Kancolle in general): We only have a handful of regular artist left who are dedicated to Kancolle, and tend to not follow latest/popular IP trends, some of them even exclusively for a particular character. So those artist tend to be less commercialized, and very dedicated to doujin as an art form, and some tend to only do SFW works. Between Comiket Kancolle receeding (circa 2019) and Blue Archive as mainstream (now), we have a very competitive period of moba, that cannot confirm any IP or character.

Alas, let see who is the poor girl next for 10 years.

Kashima can finally enjoy her retirement. Also poor Kei, being the main source of goon material will be a huge burden to shoulder. Though I still think the good equivalent to Kashima from BA is Mari since Mari is a good girl that constantly getting lewded by the fandom.

To be fair, Mari has stolen a motorcycle, and her reaction to Sakurako wanting to distribute her photos wasn't very good girl-like. We're not that far away from the Sinfall Mari as we'd like to believe.

True, Serenade Promenade kinda give her an assertive personality but she's still the closest good girl in Kivotos, Aru is a good girl but she aligns mostly to dorky archetype, Asuna is a good girl but a bit of an airhead, Serina can be also but she's a stalker, and Mimori is just the perfect wife probably closest to what Housho is. Mari has that wanting to be pure yet getting defiled by the internet situation.
