I drew my first Sannami smoking fanart back in 2005!! How.. embarrassing haha. You see, I even attempted some kind of lighting but it’s still so flat.

For a long time, I wanted to redraw that fanart but I didn’t like the pose too much so it took a long time for me to be motivated enough to figure how I wanted to redo it. I decided to just Google some smoking poses, and I came across this photo. I could just imagine that being Sanji’s neck and hand. And of course I’m obsessed with this kind of lighting +__+b
I thought of Nami’s pose in my head, and it was challenging to match Sanji’s lighting. But with perseverance, I think it worked out! Maybe what I’m saying is, don’t give up on your back-lighting dreams! ヽ(•̀ω•́ )ゝ✧
