Worn out and unable to continue battling, Gloria's Charizard was called back into its pokeball. Having lost the fight against champion Jeffrey, it was time to pay up. Unfortunately, Gloria didn't have any more cash. She had spent every last bit on Max Revives and Full Restores in preparation for facing the champion. She had used them all up, too, so she couldn't even offer them to him as payment. Once out of the stadium and out of earshot of anyone, she was offered a deal.
