  • Keraiai species guide

I've been meaning for the longest time to make new intelligent species for Anatomia so I can play with more fun interspecies social dynamics!
My first thought with these guys was to make a species that would have a relatively neutral relationship with fraids, being able to exist in eachothers space without conflict. I thought maybe they'd make for a much easier mount to tame for fraids and be used in combat (maybe even with fancy armor...)
They are herd animals and very social, with complex language and social dynamics just like fraids and nethermares :)

I really want to make more intelligent species for Anatomia to shake things up!

My idea for these guys was to make an omnivorous, mostly passive animal that will only attack when provoked, and only feeds on very small creatures and soft tissues from Anatomia's body. (Within Anatomia, anything that grows from the landscape would be comparable to our world's plants and fungi, thus creatures who feed from it exclusively would be considered "herbivores", fraids fit into this category. Creature that consume the bodies of other creatures are carnivorous. In nethermare's case, they are exclusively hematophagous (feeding only on blood)!

I also just really really have been wanting a creature with a noodle body-type.......

All of the characters I draw are mature + intelligent, unless stated otherwise (with the occasional exception of brain-damage...)
