I was thinking I'd need someone to play straight man for the story after this, so this is how it turned out. We did actually stay in touch with each other by Skype, though. It is so, SO convenient to be able to call for free, even from overseas, so long as you can hook into the 'net!

And so, tomorrow, Kogasa-san finally gets to board her plane. It only took about two weeks! :-)

It's actually quite important to pay attention to comments when reading this 4koma, since translated author's comments, reference explanation and sometimes even actual story behind the comic can be found there.
Mizuki-san went to US about 1 week ago, and I somehow have a feeling he have gathered enough material for another month - so you can say it's in the past. The whole series usually is, though.

Slightly in the past now. Kogasauthor started the current episode while in the US but he's back in Japan now. I imagine the few days his trip took will make for quite a few strips.

It's exciting seeing his depiction of a trip I saw being planned from months back!

Well, according to Wikipedia, a 500 yen piece is 26.5mm across... That's roughly- Holy Mackerel! That tofu's more than 4 inches across! I knew it was huge, but this is insane!

Still Sanae is keeping Kogasa on a short leash.
