Considering that the Male Mage is a totally different entity from the female counterpart, I wish the Female Slayer to be just that. Hopefully without the cursed arm.
Well the cursed arm is a pretty big part of the slayer concept, as much as magic is to both male and female mages. And as you can see here, her left arm is all red and has giant bracer with the chain coming off of it... pretty sure she's got a cursed arm as well.

Mages use magic, of course, but both classes use different principles. Granted, we have two Male Mage subclasses because of this distinction, but it's welcoming. Not that I mind the FemSlayer having a cursed arm and the exact same 4 subclasses like the Gunner, but it'd be better to give her a concept that's similar to a cursed arm.
And in case you didn't know, this picture obviously isn't official, this is. Dunno the details, but she doesn't have a green bracer.
I see what you're saying. I was commenting more on this image specifically than the game mechanics, which is kind of moot since this isn't official art. I figured this probably wasn't official, but it's definitely professional and flamboyant enough to be.
I'd have to agree, an entirely different set of subclasses (ala Male Mage) would be preferable to the whole "slight variations on existing subclasses" thing.
