I’m really struggling with the background and ambient lighting. I want to draw a scene of an illicit affair: Friends are playing a card game in the next room, while the passionate couple hides in a dark room secretly making out, tense and wanting to cry out but forcing themselves to stay quiet—it just sounds so erotic thinking about it! I’ve tried setting up some scene and lighting concepts, but it’s hard to balance realism with visual impact, though maybe I’ll crack it soon.
