I have a soft spot for childhood friends romances. I always saw Zelda as a very free-spirited person restrained by her high position. Beneath all that I always imagined her and Link's relationship to be a lot more honest. Something that preserved the simpleness of children finding each other, without the complicity of the world we get to know when we grow up getting in-between.

I cannot believe I actually coloured this. It was not supposed to exist in the first place. Well, all it got was some lazy quick colouring. If I am going to try to be a bit more ambitious (and I never am) I guess I could return to it when I find the time and colour it properly, or at least give it some simple shading.
