Cure Plasma is a fusion of Yuni and Lala!

Fusions are the result of the combined physical and emotional traits of their components, but they also are only able to exist through the cooperation and harmony between them. Unlike Cure Stardust, Cure Plasma is a fusion that has trouble maintaining that harmony. Although not enemies by any means, Lala and Yuni don’t get along all that well separated, so keeping their fusion together is incredibly difficult for them. The two of them do their best when they set their sights on a goal, so in order to stay fused, they must stay focused and single minded in pursuit of something. If they cannot do this, or are interrupted, they are likely to fall apart. Their very strong mutual friendship with Hikaru is also something that they are able to focus on to stay together. If Hikaru is in danger, and saving her is Cure Plasma’s goal, then she is a force to be reckoned with.

All fusions are a combination of the powers of their components, and are often capable of something new altogether. Yuni’s abilities of deception, and Lala’s biology result in a lure-like antenna that can emit both light and electricity. Rainbow Splash and Milky Shock combine to form an attack called Rainbow Shock, which draws power from her lure and siphons it into Yuni’s perfume, causing it to shoot a concentrated stream of plasma.

Because of the amount of power that she is able to use being potentially dangerous and the difficulty of staying together, Cure Plasma is an “emergencies only” fusion.
