I've had one (HAD) and they're not that good.
Only good thing about them is Terminator and that's about it TBH.
Pump is better and even better than that is the failed rimless 12ga.

It's definitely a firearm that was saved from obscurity by Terminator. The preference for pump-action was well documented historically, too, especially once smokeless gunpowder cartridges became commonplace. Before the movie turned it into a cultural icon, the Model 1887 was little more than a footnote in the history of the much more popular Winchester Model 1897.
