Artistic error: Her right index finger is missing. Either that, or she's holding the gun in a very uncomfortable way.
Much more likely she is displaying trigger discipline by resting her index finger on the frame, above the trigger, which would not be uncomfortable at all.

Good point. I'm used to seeing the finger behind the frame, so I didn't think of that.
