観客席から見下ろす大迫力のレース。
物凄いスピードでコースを泳ぐ
ウマ娘たち。その勢いに負けない、
ひと際大きい声援が会場に響き渡った。

「ナイスターン！ でも後続来てるわ！
このままだと……あっ！」

ひいきの選手でもいるのだろうか。
心底、残念そうにしている……
かと思いきや――

「グッジョブ！ 見事な追い抜きよ！
トレーニングの成果が出ているわね！
そのままゴーよ！ゴー！！」

「えっ……！？ さっき先頭だった選手を
応援していたはずじゃ……？」

思わず口に出してしまった私に
彼女……シーキングザパールは
ニッコリとほほ笑んだ。

「レースとは、勝者と敗者を決めること。
その光と影は必ずついて回るわ」

「……でもね、全力でファイトする
姿には上も下も、勝ちも負けもない。
讃えられるべき輝きなの！」

「全てのウマ娘にエールを！
全てのウマ娘に喝采を！
私は、全てのウマ娘を応援し続けるわ！」

曇り知らずで、まるで真珠のような純真。
その光に吸い込まれ……私が映してきた
世界の色が変わっていった。

An exciting race unfolds itself before me as I watch from the stands up high. Every racer is bursting forward with impressive speed. Out of the blue, a strikingly loud voice rings throughout the venue.

"Nice turn! But they're hot on your heels! At this rate... Ah!"

I wonder who she's cheering for. She sounded pretty crushed just now...

"Good job, what a beautiful pass! I can tell you've been working on that! Now take it home—gooo!"

"Huh?! Weren't you cheering for the racer who was in the lead until now?"

The words spill out of my mouth, and the girl, Seeking the Pearl, looks at me with a warm smile.

"In a race, there'll always be a winner and a loser. There's always two sides, like light and darkness. But you know, when it comes to competitors giving it their all, everyone's the same, and I think we should celebrate that! Every racer deserves to be cheered for and praised! I support each and every one out there!"

Her words are pure and innocent, like a pearl. And in the face of her brilliance... I begin to see the world through a new lens.
