菫子ちゃんや東方茨歌仙７巻最終話の情報ありきの絵だったので、今年の例大祭で菫子ちゃん関係が何か動くであろう憑依華の体験版が出る前に描き上げなければ！とおもって描きました。
ざっくり形にしたかったことを言うと、「メリーがもしダミー人間だったとして、現実を夢見てるとするなら蓮子ちゃんとの日々を夢に見てるわけで、絶対幸せな夢だ！」です。
前提条件の妄想が激しいのと、画面に描くものをもう少し吟味すればよかったかなぁというところで、わかりにくいことこの上ないですが、夢のふわふわした感じが水彩もどき風で出ていればいいなぁーと思います！！

As she sleeps, she dreams of a happy reality.

This drawing was based on information about Sumireko-chan and the final chapter of Touhou Ibarakasen volume 7, so I felt I had to finish it before the demo version of Hyouibana comes out at this year's Reitaisai, where something related to Sumireko-chan will likely be revealed!
To put it simply, what I wanted to convey was, "If Merry is a dummy human and is dreaming of reality, then she's dreaming of her days with Renko-chan, and it's definitely a happy dream!"
The premise is quite wildly imaginative, and I wish I had considered what to depict more carefully, so it's incredibly difficult to understand. Still, I hope the dreamy, fluffy feeling comes across in a watercolor-like style!
