Artist's commentary
I’ve seemingly tried everything. So many white pens and white ink have been thrown in the trash. The only thing I’ve found is Posca paint pens and Presto fine point. Those are the best I’ve found but both cannot get the super thin lines I want. So I use it for larger type lines on the original page, and thin white detail lines I want are then added after I scan in a drawing and I bring the file into Procreate to draw some white detail here and there. Like here on my 2nd print cover for Battle Beast 2. The thick hair strands over the black shadow are white ink from Posca and presto pens. The super thin lines are digital white added later.

@RyanOttley Thanks Ryan for sharing! I wanted to ask, what do you use for adding whites? I’m having a real hard time finding a solution that is clean/consistent and gives really good whites that don’t come out muddy or a bit grey. Any suggestions would be most welcome!
