I'm one of a number of moderators, but even so....

I don't have the time nor the help to do it alone... but this is my personal "pet project."

So I made 10,000 accounts for the sole purpose of adding points.

it gives out points and bookmarks like clockwork whenever that user makes a new post... but not every time, of course.

...These accounts don't just add points, either; they automatically register artists as favorites, too.

So even if the artists don't post anything, their favorites will slowly increase one by one.

You'd be correct to call it the fruit of continued labor, but ancient, soon-to-be withered trees crowding out the new sprouts isn't something that anyone would call healthy....

They say that Pixiv is a world of real skill and actually believe it....

Do they want to say that their high ratings mean they actually have some skill?

...Such stupidity! They've simply been granted a manufactured score and nothing more!

...Well, it's true that drawing pictures requires that kind of self-consciousness.

If they manage to develop some actual talent through all of this, we both come out ahead... and no one loses anything. It's a beautiful relationship, isn't it?
