Not gonna lie, I've seen some AI stuff on DeviantArt that actually does hit my button for hyper-sexualized fantasy coomer-brained nonsense. I respect Hentai Foundry for resisting it, but I can already imagine myself playing around with an AI tool as soon as one becomes a bit more novice-friendly. As ease and ubiquity increase, the market will probably respond accordingly. (I guess I'm moping about my future prospects in a world where anyone can generate a million images based on whatever prompts they give to a bit of programming).
The thing is, even I'm kinda excited about that. I'm hoping that AI will get into video-games, to make NPCs feel more active and alive. I've already seen concept-footage of Skyrim with AI NPCs, each given a certain amount of backstory to define their personalities. Imagine sitting down with at one of the taverns in Whiterun. You could ask her about it. The AI would know to make something up about how she knew the place, and maybe she'd tell a story about drinking with Aela. She'd remember what missions you took her on. "What out! Remember that trap from the last cave?"
I'm sorry, but that is so fucking cool to me, I would absolutely love that. I'd love a Conan Exiles with thralls that have AI personalities, so they can talk, and comment, and create a more immersive experience. I really think that could be possible in the next decade. I may need to go back out into the real world and get a full-time job doing menial shit again, but the devil's-bargain is that I'm cool with that as long as I get a fully immersive Skyrim or Conan Exiles with believable AI characters.
"But Maaaaark, you could just join a roleplaying server--" shut up, that's not the same thing. I'm introverted. Leave me alone.
