連載用イラストにMG-Aを描きました。

地元で数年前に行われたイベントで見掛けた車両です。クラシックカー好きの間では有名な方が所有するワークスレプリカです。
最近行われたイベントに参加された様子がSNSにあったので、良い状態で維持されているのでしょうね。
好きな車をレプリカで仕上げたいという気持ちは僕にも過去にありました。ST165やRX-3、AE86を所有していた時ですが。実際にはまともに維持する事に専念しなくてはならない車ばかりだった為、それどころじゃなかったですが。
しかし、若い時にそれらの車が近年ほど高価ではなく、例え数年でも所有することが出来たのは幸運だったというべきでしょうね。

I drew MG-A as an illustration for the series.

I saw this car at a local event a few years ago. It is a works replica owned by a well-known classic car enthusiast.
I saw on social media that he attended a recent event held there, so I guess he has maintained it in good condition.
I have had the desire to replicate my favorite cars in the past, when I owned an ST165, an RX-3, and an AE86. In reality, it wasn't enough for me because I had to concentrate on maintaining all those cars properly.
But I should say that I was lucky that those cars were not as expensive when I was young as they have been in recent years, and I was able to own them, even if only for a few years.
