poor Mumble, his wound is undergoing necrosis from being reopened so much, Screech won't let it heal at all! For the record, Mumble stitches it up himself to avoid Screech's advances. Screech caused the wound by her worm-end tunneling into him, he was born with just a flat-spot previously (save for a urethra of course).

another note: you can differentiate Mumbles speech from others since he's the only character who talks in lowercase, Mumble is rather quiet and has a hard time raising his voice. Even when he's screaming in pain it's hard for him to be loud.

All of the characters I draw are mature + intelligent, unless stated otherwise (with the occasional exception of brain-damage...)
