I just did.

The EMOBILE line wouldn't connect at all. And for some reason, there were a lot of whales flying around on Twitter that day. Were they playing soccer that day, maybe? That might have been the reason.

After this, a sympathetic person said, "If we put a terminal by the window, it'll connect!" and opened up a line for me to watch NicoNico live streaming, but I was wondering...could that person have been...?

By the way, I was barefoot in yesterday's 4-panel strip because I'd taken off my zōri sandals due to the heat. :-)

Among the reader-added tags are "Lamaze Method", "Mediiic!", "Net Line Deficiency" and, for some reason, "Omoikane", the Shinto god of wisdom and intelligence.

for the most part i'd say i can't go for a day. but i did go for an entire week on at least two occassions (had no choice, bad weather caused state wide power outages).

I'm fine without a connection for social purposes (though I'd be in a bind for school/job stuff). Just give me a pen and paper to tide me over.

I think the last panel is a reference to Usopp from One Piece.

Maybe the "Omoikane" was actually a Martian Successor Nadeshiko reference? (Although I'm not sure how THAT would apply here...)

I can go maybe one or two days without a connection and be relatively fine, but any longer and I start feeling antsy with withdrawal, resulting in binging once I get back on.

Also, isn't EIRIN EIRIN TAS(ry supposed to be connected somehow to Omoikane?

My limit is a week but a few days is enough to suffer through withdrawal symptoms.

sounds like me. i think my limit is about 2 hours...then i start to go crazy restless.

Considering how much of my time I waste away on the internet and video games, I'm surprised to find that I don't really suffer much at all when away at grandparents et al without access for weeks at a time.

Books are a great substitute, mind.

"Mediiiic!" Huh? Pixiv has such colorful tags. We need colorful tags here. Or would Danbooru's pools be considered the colorful tags.

I believe pixiv allows joke tags?

I can do fine without a net access most of the time. I do get restless, and have to find something else to occupy my mind. The only problem comes up if someone asks me a question: "without access to Wikipedia, my apparent IQ drops about 40 points" :D

Ahhh, went 2 and a half months without the internet once and survived, I think it broke me of it. I get flustered not knowing what's going on, it's livable.

no internet and I only go "Yu"

I've been forced off the internet for months at a time and I do fine. Once I get internet back I tend to be at a loss because online a lot can change in a month or two. That readjustment period bothers me.

Just moved house, no internet for a week. ._.

It's hardly much of a coincidence that a popular comic series would get similar comments wherever it was posted.

Personally? I've gone a week or more at a time without any internet, when on vacation. Professionally I couldn't make it a day, but I am a SysAdmin.

Which probably has something to do with why I drop off line when I take time off.

Well I can do without for some time since I have plenty I could mess with. The internet is just so easy to jump on though...

Panel 2 has Omoikane's symbol on the lower left corner of the screen, so it's definitely a reference.

Last panel was me for almost a full month.
