Maetel, Be Forever
Masako Ikeda passed away on March 3rd due to a cerebral hemorrhage. For me, she is most strongly associated with the role of Maetel, but she also voiced many other characters, including Madame Butterfly and Audrey Hepburn. Another legendary voice actress is gone, and I feel very sad.
I watched Galaxy Express 999 so much... With gratitude... Maetel... Masako Ikeda. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. May she rest in peace 😢
