  • The Master Returns

    Last week I asked the Deviantart community vote for the subject of my next painting. I wanted to paint something heavily inspired by one of the more successful paintings from my portfolio and their vote dictated that the inspiration should be "Fields of Gold". I also wanted to record the whole painting process so I could share it on Patreon for whoever was interested.
    Here is the result! I tried to retain the main qualities from the main painting (fiery orange, vast landscape, small scale subject vs large building) while introducing/changing a few different things. I believe the main difference from Fields of Gold is the sense of movement. Whereas the source is a vast and calm scenery this one has a sense of urgency.
