Hello all! Happy New Year!! I hope that you are staying warm (or cool!).. it's been crazy cold here, ugh!! Can not WAIT for spring to arrive ><

Welcome to a brand new year of Shiny Buddies! I can't believe it's been 3 years already since starting this project.. time sure flies!

For this year I wanted to try out a few different approaches with the outlining and coloring. To be honest it didn't quite turn out the way I was envisioning, but I was able to learn from the experience.. hopefully I can tweak it further for next months' drawing!

I also updated my sparkle brush and love it loads more than the last one, so I am happy with that ^^

Finally, I am trying hard to be quicker with these in general, as I do feel that I spend more time than needed worrying about unneccessary details...

But anyways, what an awesome selection to start the new year! It's literally a rainbow of colors between these three.. I totally love it! Especially that Emboar!! Buuuttt... (and I knew this would happen eventually), I was really nervous when I found out that I chose a fish pokémon for one of the coldest months of the year. I thought, "How am I going to pull this off?" Luckily two Fire types were chosen to kind of help heat up the surrounding scene.. regardless, that Carvanha has gotta be incredibly hardy! o_o;
