I don't know if adding the trypophobia (fear of holes, especially holes in the body, such as those caused by parasites) tag is appropriate here or not. The barnacles could count, but the video would indicate that red is simply a really messed-up eye, and not an infected eye socket.

If you look close, it's an insect eye - a compound eye.
