So, a new Marathon from Bungie has been released. And there are a certain number of people who would've loved if Marathon 2026 would be a single player adventure, as it's been before. Especially with all the style and interesting visual approach that the new one has. I'm among those people and even though I found out about it not so long ago (Thanks Mandaloregaming - You've introduced a lot of new people to this series a few years ago) and finished a trilogy only last year - I was intrigued and kinda enchanted with it and its heritage. The whole trilogy is really something and I found it very interesting. It will certainly remain in my memories as something very genuinely cool, mystique and mysterious. So, I was thinking, that it would be nice if the Marathon of 2026 would've been for the whole Marathon series what a Doom 2016 is for a Doom series. A new chapter and a great return. And I think it would've been nice and I'm sure - I'm not the only one who thinks like it and wants a return like this. And this fan art - for those people and for me. Of course the Original trilogy is still there, fully playable and free on steam(thanks to Aleph one), and the story is fully finished and the whole thing is very self contained, but even though - let the man dream for a bit.
