Tsurai is a private detective with an unfortunate penchant for bondage. Confident and rash, Tsurai had a rocky upbringing stemming from a tumultuous relationship with her parents. Her parents, lucrative executives in the modeling world, had an arranged marriage. When her father filed for divorce to be with another woman Tsurai resented him and his new family deeply, taking her mother's maiden name. Tsurai was often alone in her youth because her mother was busy with work, frequently watching detective dramas. She eventually becomes a snoop herself. The first time she was caught she was bound expertly by a pervert who played with the defenseless Tsurai. When Tsurai was let go, it unexpectedly awakened a sense of sadism in her. Eventually, Tsurai met her younger stepsister Shikiyo Mikagami at the girls' academy where she coldly stared at her. Eventually, she became curious about her stepsister and started to follow her secretly, becoming more attached to her. Once she stopped a bullying attempt from Shikiyo's classmates they became close. As an adult, Tsurai runs a solo detective agency where she specializes in kidnapping cases. However, when coming across a girl in distress Tsurai's sadistic side takes over and she tends to play with them a bit before fully rescuing them, sometimes landing her in trouble as well.
