This time, I've written a few ghost stories with the two members of the Hifuu Club. What do you think? I often watch ghost story videos as background tracks while I work, and when "Kunekune" and "Hassaku-sama" were used in Touhou Shinpiroku, I was quietly excited! I've always wanted to draw ghost stories, but before I knew it, I'd started writing them out of season, in the fall, with no real planning. My motivation switch isn't responding well, so I can't do it.
Now, when it comes to the ghost story element that is the core of this work, the two members of the Hifuu Club are a perfect match. They're residents of the outside world, which is relatively close to us(?), and they don't have the means to directly confront supernatural phenomena and forcefully solve them. But their curiosity and proactive approach to mysterious events make them the perfect example of active victims of the supernatural, or rather, narrators. No matter what, it seems unlikely that they'll actually be sacrificed, but on the other hand, if they disappear from view, it's probably too late. They're wonderful, albeit dangerous, explorers.
Anyway, thank you very much for reading this far. I know that these stories are all pretty pointless, but I would be very happy if they've helped you pass the time in some small way.
As an aside, many of the 4komas included this time are made-up stories or adaptations of stories with original sources, but there are a few that I actually experienced myself.
