first panel kind of reminds me of those pictures of offerings of food/drink left at small shrines i see on documentaries about Japanese culture...

Cant say I wouldn't do the exact same thing as Kogasauthor.

Given the quantities involved... a week. Two, tops.

I'd probably eat all of that in about two days. At most I'd say four. I have a really big sweet tooth so this would be like heaven to me.

Yeah, I came to the conclusion it's a private matter that really doesn't belong into such a story and was only mentioned to explain the sudden departure. I guess it explains the fluctuating updates as well.

Completely understandable. It's awesome enough that we get a peek into their private lives through the comic. We don't need to pry that deep.

Looks like the loot includes some Momiji-branded momiji-manjuu. I believe at least two different circles have been selling those.
